While the time in between this milestone and the last one was long, it sort of snuck up on me due to fall break. I am completely done with the modeling of my characters and have started to texture as you can see. I may want to take some extra time messing around with the materials to see if I can embrace the style a little bit more. I also tried to do some testing around with a 2D face on my 3D characters head and ran into several problems, so I may have to find a work around for that.
I do feel as if I'm starting to get behind and I need to ramp up the hours I'm putting into this project. When running into issues that I am having, I tend to procrastinate a bit more, but I need to start being proactive on finding different solutions. I plan on setting up a time within the next week with an old professor to relearn something in C4D that may help me with the facial animation. In the meantime I want to rework my production calendar and update that accordingly. By the next milestone I want to have my environment modeled and textured as well as any props, such as Dans briefcase, throwable car, and vault bank. These are thing I think I need to get done before I can rig these characters, even though I want them to be rigged ASAP.
